CrowdStrike (CRWD) Q4 FY2026 Earnings Call โ€” March 3, 2026

Source: CrowdStrike Q4/FY2026 press release (Mar 3, 2026) + Motley Fool transcript (Mar 3, 2026) + GuruFocus call highlights.

George Kurtz (CEO): We finished fiscal 2026 on a strong note, delivering record fourth-quarter results. Q4 total revenue grew 23% year over year to $1.31 billion, net new ARR grew 47% year over year to $331 million, and ending ARR grew 24% year over year to $5.25 billion. We delivered a record Q4 free cash flow of $376 million.

Fiscal 2026 was another record year: total revenue of $4.81 billion, up 22%, net new ARR of $1.01 billion, up 25%, and free cash flow of $1.24 billion, up 26%. Our Falcon platform continues to lead the industry, and our AI-native architecture is a key differentiator as the threat landscape accelerates with the rise of agentic AI and AI-driven attacks.

The industry has entered a new era defined by the Falcon platform's ability to stop breaches across the AI landscape. We see unprecedented tailwinds โ€” more AI means more AI-native security spend, and CrowdStrike is the security vendor of choice for the AI era, including our position with the Frontier AI Labs.

Burt Podbere (CFO): In Q4, total revenue was $1.305 billion, up 23% year over year, with subscription revenue of $1.242 billion, up 23%. Non-GAAP gross margin was 79%, with subscription gross margin at 81%. Non-GAAP operating income was $326 million, or 25% of revenue. Non-GAAP net income was $289.1 million, or $1.12 per diluted share. Free cash flow was $376 million, or 29% of revenue, a record.

Net new ARR was a record $331 million in Q4, up 47% year over year. Ending ARR was $5.25 billion, up 24%. Dollar-based net revenue retention was 115%, and gross retention was 97%. We ended the quarter with cash and cash equivalents of $5.23 billion.

For the first quarter of fiscal 2027, we expect total revenue of $1.360 billion to $1.364 billion, representing 23% to 24% year-over-year growth. For the full fiscal year 2027, we expect total revenue of $5.868 billion to $5.928 billion, representing 22% to 23% growth.

Q&A Highlights (condensed)

  • Q: Durability of AI-powered growth and acceleration? A: AI adoption is existential โ€” more AI drives more security spend; agentic AI expands the attack surface; our AI-native Falcon platform and runtime sensor/data advantage position us to sustain net-new-ARR acceleration.
  • Q: Falcon Flex and platform adoption? A: Flex continues to drive platform consolidation; customers are standardizing on Falcon as the agentic era expands the number of workloads to secure.
  • Q: AI security competitive position? A: We were selected by leading frontier AI labs; our data advantage and platform breadth are defensible as AI-native security becomes the standard.
